Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University’s (BVDU) College of Architecture is an institute dedicated to provide quality professional education in the field of Architecture. We impart to our students the knowledge and specific skills necessary to lead successful lives and to grow into positions of influence and leadership in their profession.
In the past two decades the College has contributed to the field architecture by preparing several students to become successful professionals, as well as with faculty research and community involvement. A large proportion of more than 700 undergraduate and more than 100 post-graduate are successful professionals, and a significant number have also pursued higher degree research.
The Admission process for the B. Arch. program consists of submission of application forms, declaration of merit list and counselling for application in the month of late June or early July. The Admission process for M. Arch. consists of submission of application forms, CET at various centres in India, declaration of merit list and counselling for application in the month of July.
The counselling sessions are coordinated by the faculty members under the guidance of the principal.
Candidate must have successfully completed higher secondary education (10+2) to be eligible to apply for the bachelor's program. In addition, candidates are required to submit with National Aptitude Test for Architecture (NATA, conducted by COA) exam scores for the admission to the undergraduate program.
No candidate, with less than 50% marks in aggregate (45 % percent for reservation [SC/ST] category seats) shall be admitted to the architecture course,
Unless he/she has passed an examination at the end of the new 10 + 2 scheme of Senior School Certificate
Examination or equivalent with Mathematics as subjects of examination at the 10 + 2 level OR
10 + 3 Diploma (any stream) recognized by Central / State Governments with 50% aggregate marks. OR
International Baccalaureate Diploma, after 10 years of schooling, with not less than 50% marks in aggregate and with mathematics as compulsory subject of examination.
All admissions to architecture degree course shall be subject to passing of National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) Conducted by the council of Architecture. (For further details log on to www.niasa.org)
